Vancouver-based R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Pop vocalist. Nineteen years on stages across Western Canada, from intimate first dances to sold-out anthems at Rogers Arena.
Stephen Scaccia is a Vancouver-based R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Pop vocalist who books weddings, corporate events, galas, festivals, and signature moments across Western Canada. His voice has carried both intimate first dances and 18,000-seat arena anthems. The Georgia Straight has described his sound as “a silky croon and an operatic vibrato.”
Trained in the catalog of Sinatra and Bublé with R&B as his heart, Stephen has spent nineteen years performing professionally across Western Canada. He has been featured alongside Mariah Carey (2018) and Halle Bailey (2023) in Glamour Magazine’s “You Sang My Song” series, has shared the stage with Michael Bublé, and has opened for Nearly Neil and Dal Richards. He received the Best of Burnaby “Favourite Local Musician” award alongside Bublé, and was named “Voice of the Night” at the Italian Cultural Centre.
His YouTube channel has built a public audience of more than 202,000 subscribers and 33 million lifetime views, known for soulful interpretations of R&B and pop classics alongside polished jazz standards. The viral “Decades Mashup” collaborations with Nikita Afonso and Randy C have amassed millions of streams. He continues his vocal training in the Speech Level Singing tradition under Alida Annicchiarico, following more than a decade of commercial contemporary voice study at the Royal Oak Conservatory of Music.
Stephen has performed the national anthem for the Vancouver Canucks, BC Lions, Whitecaps, Vancouver Canadians, Vancouver Warriors, and the Vancouver Goldeneyes (PWHL), including the team’s inaugural Pride Night in April 2026. His original recording catalog includes the 2015 EP No Longer Frozen (reviewed by the Georgia Straight) and the 2019 singles “Bitter” and “Disease,” with new compositions currently in development. He most recently completed a co-billed concert run with Krystle Dos Santos in A Very Merry Motown at the Firehall Arts Centre.
A proud queer artist and member of The Cutting Edges, Vancouver’s LGBTQ+ hockey club, Stephen brings the same craft, presence, and preparation whether the room is a quiet ceremony or a packed Pride festival. He has been a featured artist at Pride events across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley since 2018, with confirmed 2026 bookings at Surrey Pride, Pitt Meadows Pride, and the Vancouver Canucks’ annual Pride Night.
For weddings, corporate events, galas, private functions, and signature moments, Stephen scales his ensemble from a polished solo set with high-quality backing tracks, to an acoustic duo or trio, to a full live band up to seven pieces. He has performed at Vancouver’s top wedding venues, including Brix & Mortar, The Permanent, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, and Cecil Green Park House, and travels across the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Every set is tailored to the room, the audience, and the moment.

"The job is not to be the loudest thing in the room. The job is to read the room, find the moment, and meet it."Stephen Scaccia
